Not Another Gallery, Brooklyn, NY
Accretion is the first show under our collective Black Sheep. The show featured 24 original artworks spanning 13 photo prints and a painting by DHM & 10 painted works by Jose, a live conversation between both artists in the collective, & a cumulative video showcasing all the work that led up to the point we’re at.
Along with showcasing artwork, the space also functioned as a temporary community space, hosting a reference library that visitors were able to look through, a food drive created by Adrianna Garcia to benefit those affected by loss of SNAP benefits during the government shutdown, and free work space for those who want an environment to meet other creatives & people.

This show operated not only as the first physical look into the world Jose & I are creating through our art but also as a first step towards future initiatives to harbor growth within physical spaces for artists and grasssroots initiatives.
The roles of this project range from: Photography, Design, Painting, Art Installation, Project Management, & Event Coordination.
